ABOUT THE PERSON

Sarah Bonanni studied law at the University of Bonn, specialising in economics and competition. After a semester abroad at the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, she successfully completed her first state examination at the beginning of 2019. She then worked as a research assistant at an internationally orientated commercial law firm in Cologne.

 

Sarah Bonanni completed her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Bonn. During her legal clerkship, she worked for the Committee for Economic Affairs and Energy of the German Bundestag in Berlin, a medium-sized law firm in Bonn and in the legal department of an international telecommunications company. There she gained particular expertise in competition law. After successfully completing her second state examination in law, Sarah Bonanni joined LLR’s Cologne office in 2022.

 

She advises in all areas of intellectual property law – from the development of designs and trademarks to the judicial enforcement of intellectual property rights and their defence. Her work includes, in particular, trade mark, design and competition law. Other areas include media and copyright law.

 

When Sarah Bonanni is not working, she spends time in nature, exploring new countries and cultures, doing sports or travelling with friends and family.
