ABOUT THE PERSON

Till Freyling studied law at the University of Münster and the University of Munich. During his studies, he worked at the Chair of Roman Legal History of Prof Dr Martin Schermaier.

 

Till Freyling was admitted to the bar in 2008. Before joining LLR’s Cologne office in 2010, he worked as a lawyer in the M&A department of a major international law firm. Since 2022, he has worked as an in-house lawyer at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG and as of counsel at LLR. Till Freyling mainly supports LLR with complex projects in the area of corporate finance – in particular with measures that require a securities prospectus. He is a lecturer at the state-recognised Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in the field of corporate law.

 

In the area of insurance supervisory law and investment law, Till Freyling specialises in advising AnlV-regulated investors on the assessment of the eligibility of target investments. Till Freyling has many years of expertise in classic German special fund structures as well as Luxembourg and US funds.

 

Till Freyling regularly publishes on topics in his area of specialisation in legal journals and practice-oriented publications.

 

When Till Freyling is not working, he enjoys reading – especially works from the 1920s, sailing, long-distance running and salsa dancing with his wife.
